Rail union begins month-long strike
More chaos for commuters is expected on the Sydney rail network as the state’s rail union ramps up industrial action.
Today transport officers will be banned from issuing fines before rail services on the Eastern Suburbs and South Coast lines are impacted on Wednesday.
A further seven strikes are planned until the end of the month.
