Albanese comes with ‘lower expectations’ than Kevin Rudd
The beginning of the Albanese regime has revealed a few parallels with the start of the Rudd government, Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says.
“Rudd had the apology to Aboriginal people, Anthony Albanese is talking up the Indigenous Voice to Parliament,” Mr Clennell said.
“Rudd had an NBN rollout, Albanese is talking up a power transmission line rollout to assist renewable energy.
“But, unlike Rudd, Albanese comes in with lower expectations – and is taking advantage of that so far.”
