‘Liberating times’: Miss France contest recognises ‘mothers are women too’
Sky News host Chris Kenny says there have been some changes to the Miss France competition after complaints it was “discriminatory”.

Under the contest’s “strict rules”, contestants need to be at least 170 centimetres tall, are not allowed to put on weight and have to be single women between 18 and 24.
“The height and weight rules are staying in place … but from now on, you can be of any age and you can be married or even a mother,” Mr Kenny said.
“How about that, mothers are women too.”
“How about that for a victory against discrimination, what liberating times, eh?”
