Two senior public service chiefs axed by Albanese
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has begun cleaning house in the public sector by replacing two Coalition-linked department chiefs.
DFAT Secretary Kathryn Campbell has lost her job and will be replaced by veteran diplomat Jan Adams.
Simon Atkinson will be replaced by former Victorian public servant Jim Betts at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.
The five-year appointments will begin from next month.
