Marles reaffirms commitment to nuclear submarines
Defence Minister Richard Marles has pledged to prioritise the purchase of nuclear-powered submarines able to hit the water fastest to meet modern security threats in the region.

Mr Marles told The Daily Telegraph he wants to close a 20-year gap between when AUKUS nuclear submarines were first promised by the Coalition and their expected delivery in the 2040s.
