Qantas CEO addresses airport delays
Qantas CEO Alan Joyce predicts less travel chaos for passengers over the upcoming July holiday period after the airline addressed its post-pandemic staffing issues.
He said Qantas more than doubled its call centre staff after delays left some passengers waiting on the phone for more than five hours.
The average hold time has now been reduced to six minutes.
