Australia will ‘seize the opportunity’ to address climate change: PM
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says Australia’s future will “seize the opportunity” to address climate change and reach a 2030 target.

Mr Albanese said he had written to the Executive Secretary of the United Framework Convention on Climate Change, Patricia Espinosa.
“What we did was work out what good policy looked like,” he said during a media conference in Canberra.
“A future in which we participate in the global effort … but also seize the opportunity that there is from acting on climate change.”
