NSW government must ‘snap’ out of ‘privatisation’ ideology: Minns
NSW Labor Leader Chris Minns says the opposition is working diligently on a plan to reduce the cost of living on families – especially in relation to tolls.
“But the most important thing is to snap this ideology from the New South Wales government that privatisation leads to lower prices,” Mr Minns said.
Mr Minns said Sydney is the most tolled city in the world, identifying families of Western Sydney as the most cost-burdened when it comes to road tolls as they commute further.
“Obviously the situation for motorists is getting out of hand and it’s burning a hole in the back pocket of tens of thousands of families who live west of Parramatta.”
