Labor MP defends party position on wages
Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education Amanda Rishworth says it should not be “controversial” that Labor is seeking to increase wages when repeatedly pressed on the issue by Sky News host Laura Jayes.

Ms Rishworth said Labor supports the principle that wages should keep up with the cost of living.
“We will look at all the economic indicators,” she told Sky News Australia.
“What we need is decent wages and conditions in this country.”
