Wage promise is ‘another stumble’ from Anthony Albanese
Sky News host Andrew Bolt says there has been “another stumble today” from Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese.
“He is tripping over his feet again on economic policy … this time making promises on wages that he didn’t mean and can’t keep,” he said.
“Again you have to ask – does Albanese understand his own policies, does he understand how our economy works?”
Mr Bolt said Mr Albanese had previously made blunders about the nation’s cash rate and unemployment figure – and had overestimated the number of Australians working three jobs by “more than double”.
“He’s been making this implied promise that he’s going to raise your wages but he doesn’t have the power and he doesn’t really mean it.”
