US worker shortage threatens economy
The US job market has been seeing significant growth however there are concerns a worker shortage could impact future economic recovery.
For every unemployed person analysts suggest there is at least two open jobs, creating steep competition for workers.
“The supply of labour remains constrained and that in turn is going to put upward pressure on wages and ultimately upward pressure on prices,” Morning Consult Chief Economist John Leer said.
