Mike Cannon-Brookes to address AGL shareholders over demerger plans
Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes will use today’s AGL’s shareholder meeting to warn fellow investors of a major dividend nosedive if the company proceeds with its demerger plans.

Mr Cannon-Brookes became the company’s largest shareholder last week and is now able to address shareholders directly in his efforts to prevent the split.
An independent expert report recently concluded the split would be in the best interest of company shareholders.
The split will go to a shareholder vote on June 15.
