‘Rank hypocrisy’: Palaszczuk accuses Morrison of ‘dividing the country’
Annastacia Palaszczuk accusing Scott Morrison of “dividing the country” is just “rank hypocrisy” from the Queensland Premier who divided communities with a police enforced barrier reminiscent of the Berlin Wall, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.
Ms Palaszczuk joined federal Labor Party Leader Anthony Albanese at a press conference in Brisbane where she launched a scathing rebuke of the Prime Minister’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We had cases of people not being able to cross the Queensland border for health care, cases like the northern NSW mother who lost a baby after she was forced to fly 800 kilometres south to a Sydney hospital,” Mr Kenny said.
“Incredible, the audacity, the deception, the rank hypocrisy of accusing Morrison of dividing the country when you have behaved like this.”
