Security experts have backed Defence Minister Peter Dutton’s comment Australia must “prepare for war”.

Mr Dutton drew comparisons between Russia and China now and Germany in the 1930s saying they are a threat to global peace.
Defence experts say the nation’s current military force is not yet equipped for conflict with China – and warned Australia would likely have to lean on the United States for support.
