Cruise ship passengers forced into isolation in Western Australia
Western Australian authorities are attempting to contain an outbreak on board a cruise ship off its north coast.
There were ten travellers and two crew members onboard the Coral Discoverer who were confined to their cabins after testing positive to COVID-19.
The ship, which departed Darwin docked at Broome, in the state’s northwest, while extensive testing is undertaken.
Cruise ships have only been permitted to enter WA since a federal government ban was lifted earlier this month.
