Russia takes offence over Blinken comments
Russia’s foreign ministry has taken offence to comments made by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken about the deployment of Russian troops to Kazakhstan.
Mr Blinken criticised the move, insisting Kazakhstan had the capacity to deal with a spate of protests about increasing petrol prices.
Russia retorted by saying the US should reflect on its own history of military intervention around the world.
