Gleeson: ‘Thank goodness' Dutton is Defence Minister
Sky News Queensland Editor Peter Gleeson says “thank goodness” Peter Dutton is Australia’s Defence Minister.
Mr Dutton today addressed the National Press Club highlighting the belligerence of China.
“I think the next election will unquestionably be fought along the lines of national security and of course the economy,” Mr Gleeson told Sky News Australia.
“Those statistics that he rolled out, that China has the biggest naval fleet in the world, that’s extraordinary.
“And that says to a lot of Australians, when it comes to the next election, if you want a strong national security outlook, you’re going to get it from the Morrison government.”
