Shine Awards celebrate women in the bush and their contribution
The Penfold sisters’ inspiring efforts through the challenges of 2021 haven’t gone unnoticed; being nominated as finalists in the Shine Awards, supported by Harvey Norman.
Bonnie, 23, Molly, 21, Jemima, 19, and Matilda, 17, together run their 150-day grain-fed premium black angus business ‘Four Daughters’.
The sisters were intending to sell beef to Wuhan, but the pandemic and China’s trade suspension put them in a difficult spot.
However, the sisters adapted and worked towards something different, transforming their brand to suit the domestic market.
Harvey Norman CEO Katie Page and News Corp Australia Community Ambassador Penny Fowler spoke with Sky News Australia about the Shine Awards and how they celebrate the contribution of women in the bush.
