Retailers hopeful of record spending during Black Friday sales
Retailers are expecting record spending as shoppers return to stores to snap up Black Friday bargains today.
The National Retailers Association is forecasting $5.6 billion in sales – including $2 billion to be spent online.
Shopping centres are preparing to welcome more face-to-face customers after long periods of lockdown.
It's estimated almost $1 million dollars per minute will be spent during the discount sales event.
