‘Recent disquiet’ in government ranks is ‘lack of leadership’ from Scott Morrison
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the recent “disquiet” in government ranks stems from a “lack of leadership” on Scott Morrison’s part.
Mr Clennell said Senators and MPs revolting against the Coalition’s agenda are not “convinced by Scott Morrison’s performance”.
“He is very poll-driven, as we know,” Mr Clennell said.
“Essentially, you’ve got a lot of disquiet in government ranks and it has to be a lack of leadership, because there’s no discipline there.
“There’s no carrots or sticks being offered by Morrison to prevent these outbreaks, and they are outbreaks.
“It’s manna from heaven for Labor.”
